Before making a decision to buy a CPU cooler for i7 9700k, don’t forget to consider the below factors.
Ease of installation
This is the basic factor to choosing a CPU cooler. You spent money buying a super quiet, powerful cooler. It is not cheap, too. You will waste a lot of money and time, as well as effort if you have to struggle all day, but you have no way to assembly it.
And not only that, the inside component might be damaged while you are trying to assemble your cooler. It is the reason why choosing a CPU cooler should be based on the ease of installation.
Noise level
Is there any cooler that works without noise? No. Impossible to make the noise disappear. But the cooler with the low noise level is always the first choice. A quite cooler, of course, is more comfortable. How to choose the fans with lower noise? If the cooler has fans with lower RPM, its noise level reduces. It doesn’t vibrate so much.
Please note that the larger the fan, the noisier it will be. It has more blocks of coolant and the spin is faster.
Cooler and case size
The size of the fan cooler will ensure it fit in your box. Then, you can access the RAM memory modules. In case, RAM modules have room for coolers, you will have more coolers to choose from. It is possible to buy a larger cooler than the first one you have. You can install that cooler easily. And its performance is not affected when you change to a larger cooler.
Speed control system
A good speed control system is very meaningful when you use a CPU cooler. It allows you to customize the rotation speed, then uses that low rotation speed with your larger radiators for the cooler to be silent.
Budget
There is a variety of CPU coolers for i7 9700k on the current market. You feel so confused when you choose them. One of the factors that can affect your decision is the budget. How much money can you spend buying a CPU cooler? When you have the answer, you will know what you are searching for.
CPU socket
The CPU cooler and CPU socket need to be compatible. Some coolers are compatible with a lot of motherboards. But others are just suitable for a specific motherboard. The cooler must be powerful enough in order to cool the processor.
You also must pay attention to the imposing coolers. Because these coolers can cover memory locations.
1. What should we buy: a liquid cooler or an air cooler?
The answer is to depend on your need. If you want to overclock your processor, the ideal choice for you is a liquid cooling system.
Basically, the air cooler system is evaluated at a higher range. What are the reasons? Using an air cooler system disperses the heat more efficiently. It runs better and we don’t feel very uncomfortable due to the noise. This type of cooler runs with a low noise level.
If you use a liquid cooler, it means you need more and high power to run. Your system is usually overheated.
2. Why do we need a CPU cooler?
To ensure the performance of your computer, you need to maintain its temperature. A CPU cooler protects your processor from being overheated. It means that your processor is used for a long time. You don’t need to spend time and money so much to change, replace your computer.
3. How to install a CPU cooler for i7 9700k?
Have a look at the below instruction and you will know how to install a CPU cooler. It is not difficult. Here is a simple procedure if you want to install it by yourself.
- Insert CPU in the socket. But you must ensure that this connection is very tight. No loose anywhere.
- Cleaning your CPU and the heat sink surface.
- Use the thermal paste to apply on the heat sink surface.
- Continue applying thermal interface material, such as silver-based or ceramic on the surface.
- The next step is to mount your CPU cooler on the head sink socket. Check carefully to ensure that your CPU cooler is latched tightly on a socket.
- Wipe off thermal paste and CPU cooler.
Yes, you have finished the installation for a CPU cooler.
4. Your CPU gets damaged at what temperature?
It is totally possible to use a CPU at a high temperature. Its temperature might be up to 110 degrees. At that time, your computer gets damaged. And, of course, its internal wiring can be damaged.
5. Is a CPU cooler necessary for gamers?
Of course, it is. You are safer when playing the heavy-duty game with a CPU cooler. Because a CPU cooler reduces the heat. However, it can increase the speed of computers. If you are a professional gamer, don’t forget to install a CPU cooler.
A CPU cooler is necessary for your computer to be safer. It also helps to reduce short circuits or overheating. It means the performance of computers is guaranteed. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to repair or replace a computer and its components.

Based on specs, definatly. Bit that is not a 3060… And 3060 is RTX, not GTX

Tell them to show you a picture of task manager lol. If these specs are somehow right then fuck yeah you better buy that in .2 sec. Seems too good to be true then it likely is. Or tell them you will buy it of you can see it run in person then you could look at the task manager yourself.

Looks suspicious because a 3060 alone is selling for even more. Also I find it hard to believe that the card is an actual 3060, let alone one from EVGA. They have backplates afaik along with “GEFORCE RTX” written on the side.

That’s not a 3060 maybe 1050 or around there. That’s not a Corsair aio. The mobo is decent I have that same one an works great with my i7 9700k. I’d ask for proof of specs with the system on

I did a dual computer project in 2003. Bolted two older towers together and the main was a Pentium II 233 and the bottom was a Pentium 166. It was for linking two machines together in network and some games that I have forgotten about. the build was 30 inches tall and I built the desk around it.

Personally I would have given given the Ryzen CPU the smaller ITX spot, can’t do much of any overclocking on that i7 with that low profile cooler. None the less, impressive build.

I wasn’t aware that you could build two system unit in one single tower. How does it work? And anyway that’s some crazy high end specs you got there for both AMD and Intel

Take a look at Phanteks Evolv X case with the Phanteks REVOLT X power supply. there are way more case options that also support (2) power supplies instead of the innovative single option. THERE ARE MANY pros and cons to dual system builds
