Choosing the panel tech is important since it is the element that particularly affects an individual’s insight. For example, you might usually rely on the IPS panel for great visuals, and refresh rate, while VA can lead to delays and out-of-sync viewing angles. The TN panel even operates like a charm but brings bad color precision. Every panel comes with a trade-off so that you might select your poison smartly.
Response time
Fundamentally, response time is the delay’s measure from double subsequent pixels on the screen. For example, if you move the mouse on the screen, you can realize a better transition if the response ratio is lowered, while if it is higher, you can face more draggy frames.

Does anyone have the monitor? Looking for the best super ultrawide monitors that can still put out 120hz or more and have great color. Also, I’ve got a 2080 Super, y’all think I could keep up with a monitor this demanding while keeping up with its 120hz? I’ve got an LG 34” 144hz currently and I’m able to stay at about 120-144hz on ultra settings depending on the game

I have the Alienware 34” monitor it’s 3440×1440 and 120hz. I have a 2070 super. It keeps up in most games depending on settings. In newer games with heavy graphics it doesn’t hit that high of frames if graphics are on ultra but i don’t play most of the competitive shooters. But the resolution and g-sync is amazing.

yes that’s the one. And being that the resolution is 5120×1440, that monitor will definitely not perform as well as your current because of the higher resolution but the ultra wide experience is amazing

Yeah I was looking at that model. I was leaning more towards this one solely because of how fucking wide and gorgeous it looks. I didn’t really dig the stand on the Alienware but it’s got the G-sync and coupled with nvidia cards I imagine it runs flawlessly. How are is the color output?

it’s great I literally have no complaints besides the stand and a plastic cable cover on the back doesn’t go on easily but I’ve just left it off because I never see the back. And if you don’t like the stand you can get a monitor stand, it has vesa. But honestly the stand works flawlessly for tilt and raising and lowering. It’s very solid even tho it’s ugly and protruding lol

the g-sync has always worked perfectly and games run smoooooth. Even in like extremely demanding games like red dead 2, it still looks smooth. I watched a couple videos about mine before I got it and I guess the curve is a lot more aggressive than other monitors. It curves perfectly to where it makes you feel immersed. It’s definitely noticed
