Do you think that Secret Lab is worth their price point? In the market for a new comfy chair. I work from home and just want something I can sit in for work 8+ hours a day.

I’ll say this. I got the Batman one. Anyone who’s bought a Secretlab chair knows that part do what they are paying for is the design/look. I love mine and find mine very comfortable. However, I can’t deny that there are much cheaper chairs that are much better for your back. I never ache in my Secretlab chair but I also work most of the day so I only sit in it maybe 5 hours max a day. Hope that helps. If you have the money and love the design get it. But if you just care about back support mostly, I would set get something cheaper.

for a secretlab chair, and if I did, I wouldn’t do it. I’ve tried a few different brands of gaming chair, but the seat cushion lasts longer against a 260lb guy better in my ikea chair.

You work for the fuckin marketing department at Secretlab? Relax. Lol. You should realize a higher price for a product does not always correlate to higher quality.

I agree that the cheap gaming chairs are terrible,, the amount of pain I would be in was unreal and sometimes after only a couple hours of use. When I got the first secretlabs chair I was skeptical, but immediately upon opening it you could tell the difference. Quality is so important and these chairs go above and beyond in the quality department. You are paying a high price because you are buying something made and designed with quality and comfort in mind. This isn’t just another gaming chair, this is the end product of tons of research. You won’t be disappointed. And for the guy mentioning being bigger, you’d love the titan. Just sitting in it for the first time I was like Holy hell, I never should have gone cheap. And as far as not being able to afford it, they offer great payment options with affirm if you have credit and katapult if you don’t. 40 bucks a week pays em off in less than 90 days. Or you can do 18 a week and pay it off in a year, but if you go the 18 a week route you end up paying alot more for the chair. The 40 a week is 90 days same as cash.

“Gaming chairs” aren’t comfy for long. And they are all made at the same place and just rebranded pretty much. Get a nice office chair instead

Be happy with your office chair. Your not making a real statement by saying all built at same place. I got an Omega it’s nice it’s built in Utah or Tennessee.

Absolutely. I got one after owning a 275$ ikea one, a dxracer, and an ergonomic one on Amazon that was about 350$. Quality is great, comfortable. Nothing bad to say about it. The back pillow, and headrest pillow make it what it is for me. Without them its not great

Definitely recommend getting the titan for the adjustable lumbar support. The biggest thing if you do get one is give it a couple weeks break in period as it is pretty firm at first.

I like my software omega chair. I think it’s worth it but it is a premium. I’m more interested does it last 3-5 years in great condition. I’ve had it almost a year now and it’s been fine no issues.

Comfort wise I would buy an autonomous ergo chair. I love my secret lab chair but I only have it cause my buddy gave it to me when he moved and couldn’t fit it in his car. It was only a couple months old and he hadn’t used it much. It’s one of the stiffest chairs I’ve ever sat in. Months later I find it really comfortable but the first couple days this thing sucked BAD lmao

Herman Miller Aeron Remastered with the PostureFit SL. Steelcase Leap V2 and Gesture are also very good. Don’t like the HM Embody. A good chair is an investment for your body and back. Photos of my HM Aeron below.

I prefer the soft weave. The only reason I got the leather was because I was impatient and they were out of stock on the softweave when I was ready to order. The leather is fine as well, but the softweave just has a bit more firm feeling.

I wouldn’t listen to alot of the people here that say the gaming chair type of chair is bad, because these secretlabs ones I can sit in for 12 to 15 hours and be fine. The cheap gaming chairs or even some of the other name brand ones definitely have caused issues for people, but it’s a lack of quality material. You won’t have that with the secretlabs. If you like the way they look, don’t let anyone deter you, and give it a shot. You also get a 3 year warranty, and they give you 2 more for free when you share it on social media and tag them.

Ever notice secretlab doesn’t pay to be in any streamers videos? They don’t send free chairs to people with a lot of followers? They built a better product and it speaks for itself. If the question is is the chair worth the money the answer is yes. They are leaps and bounds better than chairs with the same exact design. They are built to last, and the attention to detail is above the understanding of most of the naysayers. I don’t care if someone I don’t know buys it or not. But when I have guests in my home I urge they to sit in both of mine to feel exactly why they come with the high price tag.

it’s something you are going to spend hours/years in. I understand people being skeptical of the “gaming chair” design but it’s material composition and quality is second to none. Is it better than a $1k Herman Miller? I don’t know, but it is 1/3 the price and I have sat in mine for an entire day before and not experience discomfort from it.

I have it and .. hmm secretlab is fine, better if you are 5’6 in height im 5’4 i still feel short.. but in comfort its so far good.. but if you have extra money id suggest looking for an nonexpensive/expensive?? and better one.. since you work at home, find an ergo chair thats really comfortable. But this chair is just comfortable enough i suggest getting the soft weave. It is better than the leather. My bf has it cause he first bought it when i stopped him from buying the miller chair to save him some money. Also pet-friendly… i only got the leather chair because i didn’t like the designs for the softweave …

I have tried many chairs. As a bigger guy with extra padding, all other chairs would have my rear and low back hurting in just a few hours. I have sat in my secret lab for damn near 24 hrs before with no pain.

I bought a $100 chair on Amazon. Had it for 6 months. Had leg, lower back and elbow pains. Bought a secret labs and literally never hurt. I haven’t had the leather from secret labs but the soft weave is cool and comfortable.
There could be cheaper ones that are as comfortable but I doubt there are cheaper ones that are built as rugged. The omega model probably weighs 60 lbs.
I suggest it.
